In the name of beauty or health? Beauty and health!

How to care for dog hair?
It just so happened that they were met by clothes. In the world of domestic tetrapods, this simple rule is just as relevant as in the world of their owners – people. True, unlike us, it is enough for animals to have a smooth and silky coat to conquer the light with their beauty and make more than one pair of eyes squint from admiration or envy. It is the coat that is the indicator by which it can be understood whether the dog is healthy and happy, and most importantly – how responsibly the owner is to his upbringing, because this external irresistibility hides the grandiose work of man. How to achieve such excellent results – luxurious pet hair?

It is known that wool consists entirely of protein – keratin, which includes sulfur and phosphorus-containing amino acids – cysteine and methionine. And about 25% of the protein that is fed into the dog’s body daily with food is spent on the formation of wool, which, like the skin, performs several functions in the animal’s body.

Protective: protects the dog from mechanical and chemical damage,

Excreting: despite the fact that dogs sweat exits through the paw pads, nitrogenous substances, dying cells and mineral salts are released through the skin.

The reserve function is that the skin contains a certain supply of fluid and fat.

All dog owners (and not only) know that the coat is unstable. He is inclined to change throughout his life, and this is absolutely normal. The condition of the coat depends on many factors: seasonality, hormonal malfunctions of the body, metabolic disorders and, last but not least, nutrition.

A properly balanced food is the paramount parameter, it can both cure problematic skin and coat, and keep them healthy after. Before you start compiling a diet, you need to make a detailed analysis of what useful elements are needed and why.

As mentioned above, wool consists entirely of protein, which means that there should be a lot of it. Otherwise, the animal may experience uneven hair growth and changes in pigmentation. Fatty acids are needed to prevent dryness and brittleness of the coat. Without them, it becomes rougher, dandruff and an unpleasant smell appear, the skin begins to peel off. The absence of a substance such as zinc can also affect the condition of the animal: the hair begins to fall out, and the skin thickens. This occurs with regular feeding with cereals or feed containing a cereal component: phytic acid and its salts are present in cereals that bind zinc to compounds that the body cannot absorb. Lack of sulfur-containing amino acids and mineral salts can cause the same sad consequences.

Each owner has the right to independently choose a diet for his dog, however, there is a risk that some elements will be more, some – less, and this, as seen above, is fraught with different deplorable results. Often, sometimes even the most responsible person may simply not have enough time to cook. That is why many people turned their attention to ready-made feeds, which, thanks to innovative technologies and modern knowledge, are no worse than homemade meals.

One of the first to deal with this issue was American experts, who ardently believed that the health of dogs and their offspring was directly dependent on healthy and nutritious food, so they did not contain any harmful additives or preservatives. Only animal protein, that is, meat that is prepared according to an old recipe and using the latest technology. The secret of these “dishes” lies in their slow preparation, due to which the pieces of meat remain whole and the bones softened so as not to accidentally scratch the four-legged stomach and cause him discomfort. This approach allows you to save useful trace elements necessary for a healthy and silky coat.

As they say, in a healthy body – a healthy mind. Having solved the issue of a balanced diet – that is, with the “body”, take care of other factors of happiness – emotional: play sports, play, chat with your four-legged friend. And only such harmonious perfection of both body and spirit will make your pet an object of both your pride and universal admiration (or envy – you decide).
